Yokoso! Welcome! We are located at the NW corner of Baseline and MacDonald, Mesa. 

Soke Hausel is a member of several Halls-of-Fame, and one of the few westerners to be recognized as a martial arts genius and grandmasterWe offer training to children (>9 years old) in private lessons; or in adult-family group classes with a parent or grandparent. Adults train with other adults & SokeHausel, will be your personal instructor.

Adult membership: $150/month. 

  • Pay as you go (cash, personal check, PayPal – NO credit cards).
  • Just add $50 to your monthly fee and your spouse, son, or daughter may attend with you (children must be >9 years old).

Private Lessons.

  • Soke Hausel, Professor of Martial Arts at the University of Wyoming for >30 years & instructor at ASU, U of U, and U of NM. He is certified in more than a dozen martial arts. One hour private lessons are $70: for two people – $100. We reserve the right to refuse training to anyone. 
Classes are limited to 25 people. We have a mix of men, women, and families

Rank Certification

  • Mudansha ranks (9th kyu to 1st kyu) known as color belts, are $50/rank.
  • Kobudo certifications – $50.
  • Yudansha ranks – $150. (1st & 2nd dan). $200 (3rd dan), $250 (4th-8th dan)
  • Special rates are available for families.
